Van Ministry

Contact: Ralph Ballew at (828-433-0845)
The Bible says “ To go into the byways and compel them to come”, but unfortunately many in our community lack consistent transportation to church, especially children.  We believe the van ministry is a golden opportunity to minister to families that would never come to our church otherwise.  The children many times are our best outreach members because they invite friends with boldness and enthusiasm that adults may not have.  We currently run both of our vans on Wednesday nights,  and are hoping to add a third van to the fleet in the near future.  With committed volunteers, we could expand the ministry to run on Sundays as well.  Volunteers can serve in one of 3 ways:  as a driver, a rider, or as a substitute.
